mission

Empowered by our select community of highly skilled and trained SOF combat veterans, we are dedicated to a strategic approach that ensures the safety, protection, health, and morale of  those without a voice.  Through the Reforge Strategic Operation Force, our mission is to provide essential aid, comprehensive training, and unwavering support to local community members, officials, and authorities. Together, we stand firm in combating the assault and transgressions against the children, and those who have had their rights, and safety taken away.

RSOF- STANDING STRONG: AFRICA
Reforge Strategic Operations Force

Child trafficking remains a pervasive issue in Africa, particularly in regions such as Kenya and Tanzania. Thousands of children are trafficked annually for purposes including forced labor, sexual exploitation, and illegal adoptions. The complexity of this issue is compounded by factors such as poverty, lack of education, and inadequate law enforcement mechanisms.

In Kenya and Eastern Africa, child trafficking and crimes abuse against children is a growing crisis. According to the United Nations, Kenya is a source, transit, and destination country for trafficked children. Similarly, in Tanzania, children are trafficked from rural to urban areas for exploitative labor in domestic work, agriculture, mining, and the sex industry.

OUR PARTNERSHIP

The partnership between Holding Hands Africa and Reforge leverages the unique strengths of both organizations to address critical issues facing children in Africa. Holding Hands Africa, a nonprofit based in Africa, focuses on protecting the safety, health, and morale of nearly 200 students and combating child tourism trafficking in Kenya.

Reforge, a veteran organization, brings a community of highly skilled special operations forces (SOF) veterans to the partnership.
